Dear users we received a message from our host company.
Hello,
We will be replacing our California router on Friday, September 5th. The main purpose of this router swap is to provide real-world performance evaluation of our new Vyatta-based routing platform, slated for deployment in Chicago later this month.
As the California network is considerably simpler than the Chicago network, we have decided to put a new router there this Friday, so that we can begin to get real-world performance metrics and train our support engineers on the operational aspects of the new system in a much simpler and smaller network installation than our primary Chicago facility.
The router swap will happen at Noon PDT on Friday, September 5th. This will be around 7PM in Europe.
Thank you for your business, and please feel free to reply to this e-mail if you have any questions.
As a side-effect of the router swap, we will not be processing IPv6 allocation requests in California until after the swap has taken place.
Also, it is possible that your viewable Netflow graphs may not work for a few days, depending on if the new router is incompatible with our analysis software.
Have a good evening,
